Our Committee

A choir of our size requires a significant amount of work to manage rehearsals and concerts, membership records, music hire, publicity, social media and fund-raising and, of course, our finances! Our dedicated Committee members work hard behind the scenes on a voluntary basis, with the goal of making all this run smoothly. The Committee meets at least quarterly, and our AGM is generally in July, when elections for the next year are held.

In June 2024 we became a registered charity with three committee members, Mary Rudge, Lucy Rushbrooke and Helen Abbott, acting as Trustees.

We fully encourage all members to become involved with the choir to whatever degree suits - whether it’s serving refreshments at our concerts, shifting chairs and staging or bringing produce from the garden or allotment to sell at our rehearsals!
