Our Soloists and the East Bridge
Concert Orchestra

While we are essentially an amateur community choir, we are fortunate to be accompanied at our concerts by professional soloists and musicians.

Our soloists are often drawn from Caritas Chamber Choir, which was formed by Benedict Preece as a spin-off from East Bridge Chorale in March 2011. Caritas is now a cricitally acclaimed, auditioned choir which performs to the highest level in the UK and throughout Europe and has a growing repertoire of recordings. It is especially renowned for its commitment to contemporary choral works.

The East Bridge Concert Orchestra is made up of professsional working musicians who play in some our England’s leading orchestras and many are familiar faces on the Kent music scene. The orchestra ranges in size from chamber to symphony, depending on the scale of the work and the size of venue.
